Stroke Patients are very dangerous, so to find out the cause and prevention of disease effectively.
Cause
Cerebral vascular
accident can be caused by blockage of blood vessels of the brain
(cerebral infarction) or rupture of blood vessels of the brain (cerebral
hemorrhage). Some people have temporarily damaged blood vessels of the brain (transient ischemic).
Cerebral infarction: Approximately 85% of strokes are ischemic cerebral brain. Cerebral infarction occurs when the brain arteries narrowed or blocked, causing severely reduced blood flow to the brain. Cerebral
infarction include: cerebral infarction due to thrombosis (usually due
to atherosclerosis ...), due to embolism (blood clot to the brain
usually shoot originating from the heart).
Brain Hemorrhage: Bleeding
Brain damage can be caused by multiple cerebral, because uncontrolled
high blood pressure, due to a weak position in the walls of blood
vessels (aneurysm). A
less common cause of cerebral hemorrhage is broken arteriovenous
malformation - a major cause of congenital abnormalities of the circuit. The form of brain hemorrhage include: intracerebral hemorrhage, subarachnoid hemorrhage.
Transient cerebral ischemia: It
is a mild cerebral vascular accident, due to the sudden decrease in
blood supply to part of the brain by a clot or debris clogging cerebral
artery, usually lasts a few minutes to 24 hours .
Risk Factors
Risk factors may treat
hypertension (risk of cerebral vascular accident started when
hypertension than 120 / 80mmHg), smoking active or passive, increased
blood fats, diabetes, fatty obesity, physical inactivity, sleep apnea
syndrome, cardiovascular disease (heart failure, congenital heart
disease, infection of the heart or heart rhythm disorder), medication
(estrogen, cocaine ...), alcoholism.
Other risk factors: family
history of the cerebral vascular accident, myocardial infarction or
transient ischemic, aged 55 and older, men have a higher risk women.
