Classification of stroke

 

Ischemic stroke

Is the most common type, accounting for about 80% of all types of stroke, caused by thrombosis or embolism causing blockage of an artery to the brain.

Intracerebral hemorrhage

Intracerebral hemorrhage stroke is caused by a sudden burst an artery in the brain. Blood flow to the brain tissue and cause compression on the brain structures.

  Subarachnoid Hemorrhage

Subarachnoid hemorrhage is a type of stroke caused by a sudden burst artery. Subarachnoid hemorrhage and intracerebral hemorrhage another location, bleeding, bleeding into the brain cavity surrounding subarachnoid hemorrhage differ from flowing into the brain hemorrhage.
